Modular chamber 25 m3
Two environmental chambers are designed to function independently but can be combined for testing longer airplane wings by removing a detachable central wall, effectively doubling the volume. A supervisor system connects to two control PCs to synchronize the equipment, ensuring precise regulation of temperature and humidity.
Technical Features:
- Dimensions: Useful dimensions are 7000 mm (Width) x 1800 mm (Depth) x 2000 mm (Height). Overall dimensions are available on request.
- Temperature Range: Capable of operating from +100°C to -70°C.
- Hygrometry: Humidity range from 10% to 98%.
- Speed Variation: Temperature change rate of 1°C/min from +70°C to -70°C with a 1500 kg load.
- Homogeneity and Regulation: Temperature homogeneity is below ±1.5°C with a stability of ±0.3°C.
Additional Notes:
The synchronization of thermal conditions was a project challenge, requiring precise metrology and symmetrical mounting to achieve optimal results. Specifications are subject to change without notice as of April 2020.

25m3 modulated environmental chamber Environmental tests on planes' wings WALK-IN CHAMBER > 3m3, CM-TYPE MODULAR STRUCTURE Two environmental chambers, at first totally independent in term of functioning, but that could be put together for tests on longer planes' wings. The detachable central wall has just to be removed to double the volume: A supervisor connected to the two control PC enables to synchronize these two equipments in order to get a very good regulation within the temperature and humidity whole range. This thermal synchronization was one of the project difficulties, a fine approach of metrology and a perfect symmetry of mounting have led to good results.
