General Description
Air-piston vibrators are constructed from alloy steel or ductile iron and require dry, lubricated compressed air. The NitroFusion process is emphasized for hardening pistons, providing superior wear and corrosion resistance.
VMSAC & VMRAC Models
These models feature air-cushioned pistons to prevent metal-to-metal contact, start at any angle with minimal air pressure, and include noise-reducing exhaust mufflers.
VMS & VMR Models
These are metallic-impact vibrators with pistons that impact directly against mounting plates, designed for easy installation and reliable operation.
Specifications and Sizing Charts
Detailed sizing charts are provided for selecting the appropriate vibrator model based on bin capacity and skin thickness, including specifications like piston diameter, weight, air consumption, and vibration frequency.
Accessories and Repair Services
Information on accessories and repair services is provided, emphasizing proper maintenance and the availability of coated vibrators for non-lubricated applications.
Key Recommendations
Use dry and lubricated compressed air for optimal performance, consider coated vibrators where lubrication is not possible, and use explosion-proof valves in hazardous areas.
Overview of Models
The document details various models such as SI, VMRR, VMBB, SAM, ACM, and SA-EP, designed for industrial applications like material handling in hoppers, bins, and railroad cars.
Specifications
Each model is described with dimensions, weight, air consumption, and energy output. For example, the SI model features a rugged ductile iron cylinder housing with internal coating for enhanced performance.
Installation and Operation
Vibrators are designed for easy installation with heavy-duty mounting fasteners and gaskets. The SI-RR model is noted for low maintenance due to a springless design.
Performance and Efficiency
Vibrators consume less air and produce less noise compared to traditional models. The SI-RR model delivers one impact every three seconds, noted for its air consumption efficiency.
Additional Features
Models like SAM and ACM feature air-cushioned pistons for quieter operation and include built-in exhaust manifolds. Coated vibrators for non-lubricated applications are available.
Recommendations
Specific models are recommended for certain applications, such as the SA-EP for foundry applications and UH and UHVM models for portable use on small bins and concrete forms.
Overview of Ball Vibrators
Ball vibrators are designed for sanitary and corrosion-resistant applications, featuring nickel plating and exhaust mufflers. They require a quick-acting valve and are suitable for hazardous areas.
Model Descriptions
Models like VBB, VBC, and VBD are described, each suitable for different sizes of bins and hoppers, with specific mounting and performance characteristics.
Technical Specifications
Detailed dimensions and performance data are provided for various models, including speed, force, and air consumption at different pressures.
Installation of Econ-O-Line 110 Drum Vibrator
The 110 Drum Assembly allows quick attachment of the VBC-110 ball vibrator to drums, ideal for settling materials and increasing capacity.
Herc-U-Line Series
Includes Series E, F, and U, each with specific features for different applications, such as laboratory equipment and small hoppers.
Specifications and Parameters
Detailed specifications for models like F35, F41, F51, U6, U13, U19, U25, U32, U38, and U44 are provided, including size, weight, air consumption, and operational limits.
Procedures and Recommendations
Procedures for using accessories and repair services are outlined, including solenoid valves and swivel connections to enhance tool life.
Standards and Norms
Valves are available in various NPT sizes and constructed from materials like brass and plated steel, with operational standards specified.
Repair Services
Repair services include reboring and fitting with oversized pistons, with detailed processes and cost estimates provided.
Accessories
Accessories like solenoid valves and swivel connections are designed to enhance pneumatic tool functionality and efficiency.
Key Takeaways
The document provides comprehensive specifications and emphasizes the importance of using appropriate accessories and following recommended procedures for optimal performance. Repair services are available for both company and competitor products.

It is imperative that the compressed air be dry and lubricated. The lubricant should be injected into the air stream to create a fog or mist. This will maintain an oil film on the piston and the bore of the body. Where lubrication is not possible or extreme tempera-tures prohibit the use of oil, we can provide > POWERED vibrators with a special coating . The coating procedure enables the efficient running of the pis-ton vibrator without lubrica-tion. This space-age coating has also been found to extend the life of the vibrator. And, unlike other coatings, our spe-cial coating allows the user...

VBB VBM ball vibrators incorporate the economy and efficiency of the Econ-O- Line series, with the quietness of an exhaust muffler. The standard muffler includes a built-in air regulator to con-trol vibration intensity and frequency. The dimensional and technical data for the VBM data are the same as compa-rable Econ-O-Line models, but the noise level is much lower. VBM-P models are nylon-coated ball vibrators with enclosed exhaust. The heavy-duty nylon coating encapsu- lates the entire vibrator. The VBM-P is ideal for applications that require a sanitary, corrosion-resistant vibrator. We also...
