Standard Features
The Pacemaster 12 Power Module is a fully regenerative AC to DC converter with features such as NEMA power code C, phase sequence insensitivity, isolated feedback, and electronic motor overload protection. It includes a DC armature contactor, high-speed current limiting SCR type fuses, a fused 115 VAC control transformer, and a deadback 12 gauge mounting panel. Horsepower calibration is jumper selectable, and the module offers a complete range of packaged drive options.

General Description
The Pacemaster 12 packaged DC drive is a three-phase, full-wave AC to DC converter designed for precise motor speed and torque control. It is suitable for high-speed automatic machinery, offering control in all four quadrants. The drive is available in six basic packages up to 300 HP and is selectable for 230 or 460 volts AC operation. It includes pretested logic semiconductors, high-frequency and transient voltage protection, and solid-state motor overload protection.

Packaged Drive Accessories
Accessories include wound field DC motors (5-300 HP), isolation transformers (7.5-330 KVA), and operator controls. These components are designed to meet various application requirements and provide control and visual indication of the driven equipment.

Options include AC line circuit breakers, fused blower motor starters, speed and load meters, NEMA enclosures, interlocked circuit breaker handles, and more. These options enhance the functionality and adaptability of the drive system.

The drive supports 5-150 HP at 230 VAC and 5-300 HP at 460 VAC, with a speed range of 30:1 with armature voltage feedback and 100:1 with tach feedback. It offers a speed regulation of 2% with armature voltage feedback and 0.1% with tach feedback. The system is designed for continuous duty with a service factor of 1.0 and a maximum load capacity of 150% for 1 minute.

The drive achieves an efficiency of 96% at rated speed and load, with a displacement power factor of 88%. It operates within a line voltage variation of +10% to -5% and a line frequency variation of ±3 Hz. The ambient temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, with a relative humidity of 5 to 95% without condensation.

Adjustments
Adjustments include acceleration/deceleration, current limit, maximum speed, IR compensation, and speed adjustment with an external 1000 Ohm potentiometer.
