This document provides detailed technical specifications, lubrication guidelines, load capacities, and mounting information for the N30 series full stainless steel round worm gearboxes (VFN series). It includes data on oil quantities, load limits, motor flange options, and mechanical dimensions.

1. Lubrication Specifications

• Oil quantity for all gearbox positions: 0.04 liters.
• The N30 unit is supplied with synthetic oil designed for long-life lubrication.
• Food-grade oil is available upon request.
• Recommended oils include Eni Telium VSF 320 and Shell Omala S4 WE 320.
• Refer to Table 1 for lubrication types and quantities.

2. Load Capacities and Operational Limits

• Table 2 details permissible radial (Fr) and axial (Fa) loads on the gearbox for both left (SX) and right (DX) directions.
• Strong axial loads in the DX direction are not allowed.
• Input speed (n1) is typically 1400 min^-1.
• Power ratings must not exceed the maximum supported by the gearbox; selection should be based on nominal torque (M2R).
• Service factors and motor power ratings are provided to ensure correct sizing.

3. Mechanical and Dimensional Data

• Output shaft and input shaft dimensions are specified, including diameters and tolerances.
• Mounting holes and motor flange positions are detailed, with kit codes provided for various flange types (e.g., 56B14, 63B14).
• Gearbox weight is approximately 2.2 kg.
• Options include single output shaft (PN30..SMA) and standard hollow shaft (PN30..PVI).
• Protection caps in stainless steel are available on request.

4. Motor Flanges and Mounting

• Motor flanges are available and can be supplied with or without reduction bushings.
• Flange hole positions and mounting feet details are provided for secure installation.
• Reaction arms and other mounting accessories have specific kit codes for ordering.

5. Important Notes and Recommendations

• Strong axial loads in the DX direction must be avoided to prevent damage.
• Power input should be selected based on torque requirements rather than exceeding maximum power ratings.
• Use synthetic oil supplied or approved equivalents for optimal gearbox life.
• Food-grade oil is an option for applications requiring sanitary conditions.
