The CLARK GEN2 SERIES pneumatic tire trucks are versatile for manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution. They offer options for LPG, LPG High Performance, Gasoline, or Diesel fuel systems, emphasizing operator comfort, reliability, ease of service, and low noise levels.
Operator Control & Comfort
The Gen2 Series includes a rubber-isolated operator cell for comfort, spacious floor area, removable rubber mat, large steps, and grab handles for easy access. It features a two-pedal inch-brake system, cowl-mounted hydraulic control levers, and electrically actuated directional control. Safety features include a retractable seat belt, lateral restraints, tilt steering column, and clamshell hood for easy inspection access.
Instrument Panel
The CLARK Information Center (CIC) offers a full LED/digital display for engine monitoring, including water temperature, engine oil pressure, transmission oil temperature, ammeter, and low LPG fuel. It includes an automatic engine shutdown system and prompts for seat belt, parking brake, ignition key, headlights, and service engine light.
Engine
Equipped with a Mitsubishi 4G64, 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, the trucks feature internal dynamic balancers and an LPG or gasoline fuel system. The engine includes a cast iron block, aluminum cylinder head, hydraulic valve lifters, and electronic ignition. IMPCO LPG fuel systems accommodate 33.5 lb. or 43.5 lb. tanks.
Specifications
Detailed specifications for models C20, C25, C30, C35 include load capacities, dimensions, and performance metrics. Capacities are valid for standard configurations and may vary with attachments or different load dimensions. Performance may vary by +5% and -10% due to motor and system efficiency tolerances.
Engine Specifications
The diesel engine features a vertical exhaust and high-volume hydraulic pump. Trucks operate on a 12-volt negative ground system with heavy-duty starters and an anti-restart system. Batteries are rated at 550 CCA for LPG and 700 CCA for Diesel at 0°F (-18°C). High capacity air cleaners with raised air intake and automatic dirt ejectors are standard.
Transaxle
The CLARK model TA 30 is a single-speed, full reversing, powershift transaxle with a high stall ratio industrial torque converter. It includes full-floating drive axles and drum/shoe brake assemblies with dirt shields.
Brakes
Service brakes are self-energizing, hydraulically-actuated drum and shoe type, with shrouds to prevent dirt entry. The left pedal operates inching and braking, while the right pedal is for braking only.
Hydraulics
A single gear-driven pump provides fluid for hydraulic functions and steering. The priority-demand steering system conserves energy by supplying hydraulic fluid on a demand-only basis.
Steering
The steering system is full hydrostatic with a compact axle beam and integral double-acting steer cylinder. Spindle assemblies with king pins and tapered roller bearings provide a rugged, easily serviced assembly.
Upright
The upright features high visibility with standard, Hi-Lo, triple stage, and Quad uprights. It includes heavy C-channel outer rails and full I-section inner and intermediate rails.
Additional Features
Standard equipment includes a single auxiliary valve and two headlights mounted on the overhead guard. The High Performance Package is standard on the C35.
