General Information:

Each unit is inspected before shipping.
Sealed start relay with a green function diode.
Plastic injection reservoir, corrosion-free with visible oil level.

Startup and Operation:

Battery amperage depends on usage; a standard battery is sufficient for normal applications, but a 300 amp/hour battery is recommended for continuous use.
Fill the reservoir and system with clean oil above the filter level using a clean funnel with a fine wire filter.
Do not use a cloth filter.
Prime the pump by starting and stopping the motor/pump several times until normal flow is achieved.
Ensure all air is purged from the system, preferably at the highest point and under pressure.
Air in the system causes erratic and noisy operation.
Never operate the unit without oil.
