This document presents a case study on the Emergency Mobile Van intervention using the autoGCMS system for TO15 analysis, updated on February 27, 2025. The focus is on ambient air monitoring and emergency response in industrial environments, specifically targeting toxic organic volatile compounds (VOCs) in air and water.
The autoGCMS system is designed for rapid and accurate detection of VOCs, with a detection range from 0 to 325 μg/m3 or higher. It is capable of analyzing toxic organics in both water and air samples.
The TO15 application cycle is 30 minutes, enabling timely monitoring and intervention during emergency situations.
The system analyzes a comprehensive list of 46 VOC compounds as defined in the TO15 method. This allows for broad-spectrum detection of hazardous organic compounds relevant to industrial air quality and environmental safety.
The case study references the airmoVOC C6C12 expert 624 instrument, which incorporates a three-phase trap combined with a DET QMS (Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer) for sample analysis from TO15 cylinders. This configuration enhances sensitivity and selectivity for VOC detection.
