Volumat™ Aspect
Volumat™ Aspect combines Volumat™ with a polyester veil affixed by a needle loom. Volumat™
Volumat™ is a woven roving or multiaxial combined with a mat, bonded by a needle loom process. It adds volume to reinforcements, allowing for greater part thickness and optimal filling of critical areas. It is recommended for parts requiring mechanical properties and offers a better surface finish.
High Surface Finish Solutions
Tapes (G-tape & C-tape™): These woven reinforcements are suitable for thin or narrow profiles, offering improved stability and surface appearance.
Stitched Tapes (st): These tapes allow for the addition of fibers at 90° orientation, veils for better adhesion, and the combination of different wefts.
Multiaxials
G-ply™: A glass multiaxial product providing stability and mechanical performance, with improved torsional strength.
C-ply™: A carbon multiaxial reinforcement that can be tailored for optimized performance, mixing carbon and glass fibers for cost-effectiveness.

High surface finish solutions Volumat™ Volumat™ is a woven roving or a multiaxial combined with a mat, mechanically bonded by a needle loom process. BENEFITS • This needle loom process adds volume to reinforcements which means greater part thicknesses can be achieved. Volumat™ aspect Volumat™ aspect is the combination of Volumat™ and a polyester veil affixed by needle loom. High performance solutions The Volumat™ range was specifically designed to deal with certain design and manufacturing constraints involved in the pultrusion process. However, Chomarat does offer other reinforcement materials which can be used in this process and offers higher performances. G-tape & C-tape™ G-Tape & C-Tape™ are a range of woven reinforcements with continuous fiber with loop selvedges. They may be unidirectional, fixed or not, made using glass or carbon fibers.
