Product catalog summary
Structural Design and Installation Precautions for Fork Level Switches
Introduction: This document addresses the installation inconsistencies reported by users regarding Fork Level Switches, focusing on the structural design aspects such as the fork body, process connection, and housing.
1. Fork Body: The fork body consists of two pieces, each 40mm long, with a concave point designed as the alarm point for liquid level detection. For accurate measurement, the fork surface should be parallel to the liquid flow direction during installation.
2. Process Connection: The process connection features a hexagonal design with steel marks and dots on opposite sides. These markings help align the fork body with the liquid flow direction, ensuring measurement accuracy.
3. Housing: There are two types of housing: non explosion-proof and explosion-proof. The non explosion-proof housing uses a snap connection with a positioning pin, allowing 360° rotation for flexible positioning. The explosion-proof housing uses screw threads, also allowing 360° rotation after tightening. Both housing types include an "O" type sealing gasket to ensure sealing performance and prevent inconsistent wiring direction at the cable entry.
Moisture Prevention: The rotatable housing design helps prevent moisture ingress, which can cause short circuits or damage. By rotating the housing and bending the cable into a "U" shape, moisture issues can be mitigated, especially in outdoor or humid environments.

Structural Design and Installation Precautions for Fork Level Switches-1

Structural Design and Installation Precautions for Fork Level Switches Recently, some users have reported that when installing Fork Level Switches, the relative position or orientation between the fork body and the cable entry of each instrument is inconsistent. In this article, we discuss the unique structural design of Fork Level Switch from the relative positions of the fork body, process connection and housing to figure out the question. 1. Fork body: the two pieces of fork body are only 40mm. There is a concave point designed in the middle of the body surface, which is also the alarm point for liquid level detection. When liquid level reaches the concave point, an alarm signal will be output. For an accurate measurement, please keep the direction of the fork surface parallel to the direction of liquid flow during installation.

2. Process connection: Fork Level Switch has six faces on the process connection. There are steel marks and dots engraved on the two opposite sides of the hexagon, and the direction of the fork body can be identified by corresponding to the dots on the process connection during installation, which can ensure that the fork body and the liquid flow are in the same direction, and facilitate the measurement accuracy. 3. Housing: There are two types of housing classifications, non explosion-proof housing and explosion-proof housing. The connection part between the non explosion-proof housing 深圳计为自动...

and the process connection is a snap connection with a positioning pin instead of threaded connection. The process connection and the housing are connected and can be rotated 360° to the left or right, so users can rotate to any desired position. The explosion-proof housing and process connection are connected with screw threads, which can be rotated back about 360° after tightening. For single instrument installation, the screw threads can be rotated to the end. For multiple instruments, the cable entries can be rotated to the same direction for an orderly look.
