GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS The membraned amperometric chlorine sensor is enhanced with a third reference electrode which eliminates zero drift. Its unique design means that pH correction is not usually required at all, completely eliminating reagents. For most chlorine sensors, if the sensor is operated in zero chlorine water then the response of the sensor decays over time. This in turn makes the sensor of little use for applications where chlorine is normally absent or where it is actively being removed.
