MX 604: Surge arrester tester / megohmmeter Surge arrester tester Whether the surge arresters are dismantled or on site, the MX 604 enables you to test them easily and quickly without any risk, between 0 and 600 VDC. A "support" module connects to the instrument and allows the dismantled surge arresters to be inserted for the tests to be carried out. On site, the surge arresters can be tested by means of a probe equipped with a remote control button, a lead with a test probe and possibly a surge arrester support clamp.
