The current clamps in the E Series can be used to measure alternating and direct currents by means of Hall-effect technology. Their unique long, narrow shape facilitates measurement in confined spaces where access is difficult or when there are a large number of electrical cables and conductors present. The clamps in the E Series are all equipped with an automatic DC Zero system and a deactivatable standby mode.
