General Characteristics: The Chamäleon Clear Coat MS is a 2K MS clearcoat made from high-quality acrylic resins, offering good UV protection and scratch resistance. It is designed for automotive applications.

Technical Characteristics:
  • Colour Shade: Transparent
  • Mixing Ratio: 2:1 by volume with Chamaeleon 2K Hardener (available in fast, standard, or slow variants)
  • Spraying Viscosity: 18 - 20 seconds at 20°C using a 4 mm DIN cup
  • Application: Use an air/flowjar spray gun with a pressure of 2 - 2.5 bar and a nozzle size of 1.2-1.4 mm for 2 full layers
  • Pot Life: 4-6 hours
  • Coat Thickness: 40 - 50 µm dry film
  • Curing Time: Flash off time is 5 - 10 minutes between spraying operations
  • Drying Times: At 20°C: recoatable in 20-30 minutes, dust dry in 6-8 hours, set to touch in 24 hours. At 60°C: recoatable in 3-5 minutes, dust dry in 20-30 minutes, set to touch in 1-2 hours.
Operation Conditions: The product should be applied in conditions ranging from +10°C to 75% relative humidity.
