RS-60 Sound level recorder - 1

RS-60 Sound Level Logger-Limiter Main Characteristics • Sound level logger • Registers sound level meter parameters LeqT, LFmax and LSmax • Registers all incidents: Disconnection from the mains, tampering with the sensor The RS-60 sound level recorder measures and records the sound pressure level inside the room in which it is installed. The RS-60 consists of a central recording unit and a sensor developed on the basis of the technology used in the manufacture of CESVA sound level meters. The central recording unit of the RS-60 stores the information measured by the sensor and any incidents that may have occurred. The RS-60 allows you to programme the periodicity with which this information is stored (from 1 minute to 1 hour in 1-minute steps). The RS-60 is equipped with an internal battery that allows it to continue functioning even when disconnected from the mains. The battery lasts for one week. Before it runs out, the RS-60 records the day and time that this occurs. When the battery runs out, the RS-60 automatically turns itself off. The stored data is • Can be completely sealed retained. When the unit is reconnected to the mains, the RS-60 continues to • Adaptable to any kind of regu- function as normal. lation The RS-60 is equipped with a indicator light showing that the unit is connected to the mains and it features two indicator lights, to tell you that the environmental noise does not exceed legal limits, and to warn if you are exceeding the • Data retrieval by printer and legal limit. • Internal Battery serial connection to PC • Massive Data Storage for periods longer than 1 month • NOISE CONTROL IN: Establishments with games machines, televisions, and so forth • APPLICATIONS: Noise between dwelling units, Noise control for the community A luminous remote display may be connected to the RS-60, allowing you to observe in real time the sound pressure level measured. The information recorded by the RS-60 may be retrieved directly from the parallel port by connecting the port to a printer. It may also be retrieved by serial connection to a computer. With the assistance of the REL-2 relay box, the RS-60 may be converted into a sound limiter. The REL-2 is equipped with two switches (relays) with which it is possible to activate or deactivate any apparatus either controlled or fed by an electric signal. Whenever the sound pressure level exceeds the limit programmed for each of the two switches, (pre-alarm and alarm), (Limitalarm > Limitpre-alarm), they are switched for a set time. D_RS60_v0013_20111212_ENG The RS-60 is a small compact unit, completely sealed and protected against possible manipulation.
