The RS-60 consists of a central recording unit and a sensor developed on the basis of the technology used in the manufacture of CESVA sound level meters. The central recording unit of the RS-60 stores the information measured by the sensor and any incidents that may have occurred. The RS-60 allows you to programme the periodicity with which this information is stored (from 1 minute to 1 hour in 1-minute steps). The RS-60 is equipped with an internal battery that allows it to continue functioning even when disconnected from the mains. The battery lasts for one week. The information recorded by the RS-60 may be retrieved directly from the parallel port by connecting the port to a printer. It may also be retrieved by serial connection to a computer. With the assistance of the REL-2 relay box, the RS-60 may be converted into a sound limiter. The REL-2 is equipped with two switches (relays) with which it is possible to activate or deactivate any apparatus either controlled or fed by an electric signal.
