Passive limiter for low-power sound systems PRESENTATION The LP002 is designed so that activities involving simple installations with small-format and low-power sound equipment such as cassette players, mini hi-fis, portable record players or televisions with independent loudspeakers can fulfil the maximum sound levels established in the applicable regulations. The LP002 has been designed with passive components that respect the dynamics of the music and offer clear, distortion-free and uncut music. The LP002 is inserted between the amplifier output of the low-power sound system and the speaker inputs. The LP002 is a 2-channel (L+R) limiter with independent settings for each channel that guarantees that the sound level reproduced by each loudspeaker does not exceed the established limit at any time. Maximum musical quality. It MONITORS the levels of both loudspeakers to ensure that the permitted limit is never exceeded. Each channel (L+R) has an attenuation range selector followed by a fine-tuning potentiometer to set the sound level generated by the system precisely and thus obtain the maximum sound level without exceeding the established limit. It is a highly reliable device that guarantees maximum stability at the level to which it is set, thus avoiding the need to make repeat readjustments. It can be easily installed in a matter of minutes, as all you need to do is connect the cables and set the required attenuation. The LP002 is built of metal, making it very rugged and, together with the mechanical sealing, guaranteeing that the device is fully protected.
