The OO-218 models have individual On and Off buttons with custom factory configuration of up to sixteen additional function control channels. DO-218 models have an a single On/Off button allowing custom configuration of seventeen function control channels. OO and DO display models have optional two line, 16-character LCD displays that provide visual feedback and enhanced setup features including operator adjustable contrast and backlighting of the display. The handheld enclosure is constructed of rugged high-impact polymer. A securely attached stainless steel faceplate provides additional ruggedness. The optional bumper or leather holster provides further protection. A removable lanyard is also available. The SmaRT 18-button handheld remotes provides a robust link in congested radio environments and works with a wide variety of SmaRT base units. SmaRT handhelds feature seamless association to SmaRT base units without the need to open either the handheld or base unit case.
