Thermoacoustic panel - 1

SOUND/ACOUSTIC PANEL COMPOCEL SA Normally in order to insulate acoustically are used fibres and materials that have dimensional problems and that are often heavy with a reduced stiffness. To overcome these occurrences, Cel Components proposes COMPOCEL SA panel. This panel, made totally of aluminium is light and sound-absorbing thanks to the use of perforated sheets that allow the passage of sound waves into the honeycomb core of the panel, where they are then trapped. COMPOCEL SA is panel made of three layers: Two skins in aluminium, one of them micro-perforated and an aluminium honeycomb core. In a 40mm standard panel, sound absorption is greater in frequencies ranging from 250 to 1250 Hz with a sound reduction coefficient of 0.64. COMPOCEL SA FEATURES - Excellent sound absorption / weight ratio - Absence of any fibre or elements that produces dust - Lightness, rigidity - Easy to shape, to edge and to insert - Possibility of integrating air conditioning system within the panel - Standard thickness 40 mm, other thicknesses on request - Dimensions 950x1950 mm SKIN IN MICRO PERFORATED ALUMINUM ALUMINUM HONEYCOMB CORE ALUMINUM SKIN

SOUND ABSORPTION The variation of panel thickness or panel composition may determine different sound absorption and insulation levels. Customers can also ask for laboratory tests in order to customize their products perfectly. Sound absorption coefficients are measured in compliance with the ISO 345-2006 standard. Compocel SA 40 mm ABSORPTION COEFFICIENT NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) HOW TO USE The micro-perforated side must be positioned upwards. The panel can easily be cut and punched using carpenter’s machinery. The panel surfaces must be cleaned of any oily substances before any...
