Specifications:The FAMILY E - ES 50
solenoid by C.E.I. srl operates at rated voltages of 12 V DC and 24 V DC. It has a pull current of 41 A and 23 A, and a hold current of 0.50 A and 0.28 A, respectively. The solenoid is designed for continuous duty service (100%) with a stroke of 40 mm and a starting force of 4.3 Kg. It features windings with insulation class H (180°C) and operates in ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C to 120°C. The unit weighs 1.18 Kg.
Operation:
The solenoid includes two windings: a pulling winding for the initial phase lasting approximately 150 ms to move the plunger, and a holding winding to maintain the plunger's position. Proper operation requires the plunger to reach the end of travel and adhere perfectly to the bottom.
Force Variation:
A diagram illustrates the force variation coefficient in relation to ambient temperature, indicating how force changes with temperature.
Available Options:
Models are defined by selecting options for voltages, circuits, brackets, optional springs, and electrical connections. The solenoid code is built by choosing one option from each category.
Electrical Connections:
Connections can be made via Faston, cables, or screws. The solenoid is designed for use with diesel engines and can be coupled with a starter motor. It supports both pull and pull-push actions.
Optional Springs:
Various internal and external springs are available, each with specific wire diameters and force ratings.
Accessories:
Accessories include threaded dowels, clevis, axial articulated joints, and spring swivels, all with M6 threading.
