Description

The CEC 4-123-0001 Vibration Transducers are designed for turbine applications, capable of operating at temperatures up to +500°F. They exhibit low sensitivity to transverse accelerations and can be mounted in any orientation. The transducers provide a high-level output that does not require special amplifiers, simplifying measurement systems. Precision jewel bearings ensure nearly friction-free movement, enhancing reliability.

The transducer uses a seismic mass on a special bearing mechanism. A coil attached to the case generates an output signal through movement between the magnet and coil when the case vibrates. This air-damped system operates above its natural frequency, with the AC mV output proportional to velocity. The sealed case protects against contamination.
