Product Overview

The 1-895 Vibration Switch is a versatile, multi-purpose device featuring a built-in accelerometer and solid-state electronics. It is available in various ranges and is designed to monitor vibration levels on critical machinery, providing timely feedback in case of breakdowns. The device includes a 30-second start-up delay initiated by power application or grounding of the start input, with the delay beginning only after the start input is released.

Display and Alarms

The current vibration level is shown on a 3-digit LCD and output on a proportional 4-20 mA current loop. Alarm levels are set using two front-panel push-buttons and the display. Two alarm indicators signal when an alarm level is exceeded, and the corresponding output is enabled. Alarms are latched and must be reset either at the 1-895 or via a remote alarm reset input.
