Plug & Play Controller Installation:
Upon initial installation, the Plug & Play Manager activates automatically. Confirm the default port or select a different one if necessary. Ensure the 'Enable Link Networking' box is checked to establish networking. Connect the Link.net hardware to the PC. The software will detect individual controllers and list them. Close the System Network Controllers window once all hardware is detected.
Manual Controller Installation:
For additional controllers, use the 'Install New Hardware' function in the Tools menu. Select 'Controllers' from the Access Control menu and click 'Install New Controller'. A new controller record is created, assigning the first available free network address.
Changing Controller Parameters:
Set individual parameters for each controller by selecting the controller entry and opening it. Assign names for nodes, set unlock time, and configure interlock situations if applicable. Customize messages for General Purpose Inputs and apply changes.
Selecting the Global Access Control Interface Type:
The LT-20AC Access Controllers support both Wiegand and Clock & Data standards. To change the interface type, adjust settings in the View_Options_Reader Options section and send the information to the controllers. This setting is non-volatile.
