Product catalog summary
Overview: The QF19 Series Miniature Circuit Breakers are hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers designed for low voltage applications. They are 100% rated and unaffected by ambient temperature, making them suitable for various environments.
Specifications: The circuit breakers are available in one, two, three, 1+N, and 3+N pole configurations. They operate at voltages of 240 Vac and 415 Vac, with current ratings ranging from 1 A to 63 A. The interrupting capacity is 5 kA or 6 kA depending on the model.
Approvals and Standards: The breakers comply with VC 8036 (SANS 556-1), IEC/EN 60947-2, VDE, EAC, CCC, and are CE certified. They are also UL 1077 recognized as supplementary protectors.
Features: Key features include precision tripping characteristics, trip indication with mid-trip position, and the ability to be switched immediately after tripping. Optional accessories include auxiliary switches and trip alarms.
Applications: These circuit breakers are suitable for AC branch circuit protection, telecom/datacom equipment, lighting control, UPS equipment, alternative energy equipment, mobile power generation, railway signaling, residential, and industrial equipment.
Technical Data: The breakers operate in temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and have a dielectric strength of 1000-2000 Vac. They are designed to withstand shocks of 16 G and vibrations of 2 G. The flammability rating is I3, and the toxicity rating is F1.
Ordering Information: The document provides a detailed coding system for ordering, specifying frame type, switch/neutral options, auxiliary options, number of poles, module width, mounting options, time delays, current ratings, and shunt trip options.
Time Delay Curves: The document includes graphs showing the tripping time versus the percentage of rated current for different time delay curves, indicating the operational characteristics of the breakers.
Contact Information: The document lists contact details for CBI-electric offices in Australia, South Africa, and the USA.
