Overview PowerWrap provides easy access to a concrete vaults for operational maintenance requirements of equipment. PowerWrap (965x965mm opening) PowerWrap is dimensioned for easy entrance and exit of personnel. This allows for easier routine maintenance access or emergency access for confined entry requirements (DAB-38 = 38”[965]x38”[965] opening, DAB-725 = 75”[1905]x25”[635] opening, DAB-741 = 75”[1905] x41”[1041] opening), as well as equipment operational access (DAB-18, 24, 40 and 61). Thanks to its innovative design Cavotec PowerWrap has a waterproof cover and frame preventing fluids and dirt/debris from entering the vault/pit area, complete with a 12kg lift weight. Cavotec’s patented torsion spring actuated covers maximize the available workspace within the Pit Assembly. This door design is 90-ton rated and can be operated with one hand. It features a fail-safe locking mechanism to prevent accidental closure, an optional access ladder/handrail, a stepdown platform, safety post and chain assembly, and cover lock system to prevent unwarranted entry. • Reduction in operational and maintenance cost with the waterproof cover which reduces the need for a drainage system and/or frequency of pit sumping. • Improved operational safety thanks to automatic cover latches which eliminates accidental opening.
