Product catalog summary
Overview: This document provides technical specifications, operation, and maintenance instructions for the Lynx 100CM spray gun, designed for multi-color coatings and suitable for single color latex or oil-based paints.
Specifications:
  • The spray gun is a 'bleeder type' with a pressurized material supply cup and an internal mix style spray nozzle.
  • Air caps and fluid nozzles are available in various sizes, with specific gun inlet pressures suggested for optimal performance.
  • All air caps require a specific base and air cap ring for proper function.
Operation:
  1. Connect the air supply hose to the gun handle.
  2. Attach a pressurized fluid supply or paint siphon cup to the fluid inlet.
  3. Adjust fluid flow using the fluid control knob and select the appropriate fluid orifice size for optimal flow control.
  4. Adjust fan width with the fan control knob; turning clockwise narrows the fan.
Maintenance:
  • Routine cleaning and maintenance are crucial for proper operation.
  • Use a covered gun cleaner where required by law, or clean manually by removing the air cap and using solvent.
  • Disassembly of the gun head is not recommended for regular cleaning.
Disassembly and Reassembly Instructions:
  1. Remove components such as the air cap, fluid nozzle tip, and needle before disassembly.
  2. Follow specific steps to remove and reinstall parts like the nozzle carrier and air cap adapter.
  3. Ensure proper alignment and torque specifications during reassembly to maintain functionality.
Parts List: A detailed list of parts with item numbers and descriptions is provided, including those included in the repair kit #10-106.
