Techniclean TW AL
Techniclean TW AL is a mild alkaline aqueous cleaner designed for industrial use on multi-metal surfaces. It contains biodegradable surfactants and corrosion inhibitors, making it effective for cleaning and providing temporary corrosion protection.
Applications
This cleaner is suitable for removing soluble oils, light neat cutting or stamping oils, lubrication oils, and general dirt. It is oil-rejecting, which helps in extending the bath life by allowing oil removal.
Metal Compatibility
Techniclean TW AL is compatible with various metals including steel, cast iron, aluminium, nonferrous metals, and zinc.
Recommended Cleaning Equipment
The product is best used with spray equipment, but it is also compatible with ultrasonic and flood wash methods. Dip methods are not recommended.
Conditions of Use
- Concentration Range: 1 - 5%
- Temperature Range: 40 - 70ºC
- Spray Pressure: Up to 20 bar
Concentration Measurement
- Pipette 10 ml into an Erlenmeyer flask.
- Add 1 - 2 drops of Nitrazinyellow indicator solution.
- Titrate with hydrochloric acid (0.1 mol/l) until the color changes from blue to yellow.
- Calculate concentration using: required ml of hydrochloric acid * factor 1.1
