SafeCoat DW 33
Castrol SafeCoat DW 33 is a high-quality solvent-deposited corrosion preventive with excellent dewatering properties. It leaves a firm greasy protective film after the solvent evaporates.
SafeCoat DW 33 is designed for long-term protection in severe conditions, ideal for machine tools and components before long-term storage or transportation. It can be applied by brushing or spraying, but immersion in a dip tank is most effective for dewatering.
- Low aromatic solvent content (less than 0.5%).
- Free from heavy metals like Barium.
- Stable film characteristics reduce run-off loss.
- Suppresses fingerprints.
- Good water displacing and penetrating properties.
- High stability against acidic and alkaline contaminations.

Protective films of SafeCoat DW 33 can be removed using a petroleum solvent or alkaline process cleaner available from Castrol.
