Product Data Castrol® 4T 20W- 40 Description Castrol® 4T 20W-40 is a 4-stroke motorcycle oil specially formulated to provide outstanding, durable protection under severe, high torque, high stress conditions. Under such conditions motorcycles work at extremely high temperatures causing loss of viscosity and thermal breakdown. Applications For use in 4-stroke motorcycle engines where the manufacturer recommends a SAE 20W-40 lubricant that meets API SF and JASO MA specifications. Delivers superior engine wear protection, high film strength and anti-oxidation protection for high revving motorcycle engines Special additives help prevent harmful ring deposit accumulation Typical Characteristics Test -27 Pour Point ASTM D97 ° C The above figures are typical of those obtained with normal production tolerance and do not constitute a specification. Industry Specifications and OEM approvals Exceeds engine manufacturer’s warranty requirements for applications requiring API SF and JASO MA lubricant. Storage All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and the obliteration of drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60° exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
