Product Overview
CareClean S 17 is a mild alkaline aqueous cleaner that is free from alkanolamines. It contains biodegradable surfactants and corrosion inhibitors, making it both user-friendly and environmentally friendly.

Applications
This cleaner is effective in removing soluble oils, light neat cutting or stamping oils, lubrication oils, and general dirt. It has excellent demulsifying properties for oil removal and leaves a temporary corrosion protective film on metal surfaces after drying.

Metal Compatibility
CareClean S 17 is compatible with steel, cast iron, and aluminium, but less so with nonferrous metals and not recommended for zinc.

Recommended Cleaning Equipment
The product is best used with spray and flood wash equipment, with moderate compatibility for dip and ultrasonic methods.

Conditions of Use
The recommended concentration range is 2-5%, with a temperature range of 40-70ºC and spray pressure up to 3 bar.

Concentration Measurement
To measure concentration, pipette 50 ml into an Erlenmeyer flask, add 1-2 drops of Nitrazinyellow indicator, and titrate with hydrochloric acid until the color changes from blue to yellow. The concentration is calculated by multiplying the required ml of hydrochloric acid by a factor of 0.55.
