Semi Synthetic Soluble Metal Working Fluid DESCRIPTION Castrol Alusol A is a high performance soluble cutting fluid specifically formulated for machining aerospace aluminium alloys (2000, 5000, 6000 and 7000 series) without the staining problems that are encountered with conventional soluble cutting fluids. APPLICATION Castrol Alusol A is suitable for all machining operations including grinding.Its value is shown particularly in high speed machining tasks such as profile milling and also in turning, drilling, reaming and tapping. Castrol Alusol A can also be used on aluminium silicon alloys such as LM25 and ferrous metals. It is therefore ideally suited to manufacturing operations where aluminium alloys predominate but where other metals are machined.
