Specifications:
All straight fittings (series 7110 to 7170) and plugs (series 7510 to 7520) are machined from brass bar EN 12164 – CW 614N. Seal caps (series 7560) and gaskets (series 7580) are made from copper Cu – ETP UNI 5649. Flange joints are constructed with hot forged brass EN 12420 – CW 617N for bushes and flanges, and aramidic fibers for seal gaskets.

Applications:
The fittings are excluded from Directive 97/23/EC as they are piping components. They are designed for commercial refrigerating systems and civil/industrial conditioning plants using Group II refrigerant fluids.

Operation:
The sealing system between a male connection and nut series 7010, 7020, and 7030 requires a flared connection. The Flare-ODS adapter allows brazing instead of flaring, which is not accepted by some European laws. Copper gaskets (series 7580) ensure no leakage in male connection/adapter systems. Flange joints (series 7630) use brass bushes and a gasket to ensure sealing when screws are tightened.

Construction:
Nuts (series 7010 to 7050) and elbows, TEE, and cross fittings (series 7210 to 7410) are manufactured with hot forged brass EN 12420 – CW 617N.
