SMARTSTOP™ DIGITAL AUTOMATIC MEASURING STOP The Cassese SmartStop system is an option which is available for the CS 969 & CS999 Saws. The SmartStop™ is a computerised automatic stop measuring system, available in Metric or in Inches. The SmartStop™ is designed for the high volume contract or chop-ser vice framers, who would like to maximise productivity and minimise operator errors. FEATURES OF THE CASSESE SMART STOP • User-friendly touch-sensitive screen Tells the operator all information required to create, modify or cancel any moulding profile and/or frame size, minimising mistakes and wastage. • Automatic width measurer This instantly measures the rebate width of the moulding about to be cut, so that the cutting stop can adjust itself automatically to the correct dimension required. It avoids any mistakes of measurement and is much quicker than manual adjustment. Ideal for Chop Service. • Memorise your frames' sizes The SmartStop™ can memorise the dimensions of up to 80 different frames' sizes. You can set this up for all your standard frame sizes. • Memorise your mouldings The SmartStop™ can be programmed to memorise the cutting process for up to 800 different frames (connecting sizes and profiles). Just enter the profile number, and the SmartStop™ instantly adjusts its measuring stop to the dimension required, ready to cut. • Flexible The operator can change between short and long size accurately, at any time, just by touching a button. • Fast set up time Thanks to its memory, the SmartStop™ allows to switch from any moulding and any frame size to another in few seconds. • Odometer / chop counter Shows the quantity of cuts made, and can be reset for use as a chop counter for big batches. • Minimise operator mistakes Because of its memory and clear information readout on the touch-sensitive screen, operator error is reduced to nil, saving waste, time and money. • Multi-Lingual The SmartStop™ can operate in 4 different languages - English, Spanish, French & German. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES • Bar code scanning system, including barcode editing software (Z8241) for managing your frames' sizes & profiles database, and hence give an unlimited memory to your machine.
