The system is designed to be maintenance-free, with all electronic circuits miniaturized using SMD technology for enhanced reliability.

System Design: The METAL SHARK® COMBI uses a master-slave control unit configuration connected via an RS485 digital network. This ensures consistent metal sensitivity across all sensor segments. Each segment consists of a balanced pair of inductive coils and a slave control unit, with parameter setup managed at the master control unit.

Mechanical Features: The sensor frame is mounted on solid aluminum clamp bearings, allowing precise alignment with the product flow. The system includes floor stands and clamp bearings as part of the delivery.

Technical Data: The system operates within an ambient temperature range of -10 to +50°C and features IP65 protection for sensors and IP54 for the control cabinet. It includes a digital dynamic noise filter, digital balance control, and self-monitoring functions. The power supply is 85-264 V / 50-60 Hz, with various alarms and indicators for operational status.

Additional Features: The METAL SHARK® COMBI includes a flash light and horn for general metal alarms, segment-specific metal alarms, and a reset button for metal alarms.
