Carrier Transicold's eAutoFresh system utilizes a CO2 sensor to monitor and optimize internal atmospheric composition, enabling faster temperature pulldown while lowering refrigeration unit energy consumption. Air vents only open when the software-controlled sensors indicate a need eliminating less accurate, manual fresh-air vent settings. The electronic control enables the cargo atmosphere to remain at a desired balance, drawing in just the right amount of O2 and exhausting CO2.
