I Guardian Premium IS does not have any metal support, while the GRE material functions both as retainer and as insulation. The gasket can be used on RF, FF and also RTJ flanges, in place of inefficient Phenolic Ring Joints. Sealing is ensured by PTFE as well as nitrile or fluorinated rubber.
