These devices are designed for industrial heating applications, offering features like integrated current monitoring, zero switching, and over-temperature protection.
Specifications:
  • Operational Voltage: 230 VACrms to 600 VACrms.
  • Control Voltage: 4 - 32 VDC.
  • Rated Current: Up to 50 AACrms.
  • Isolation Voltage: ≥ 4000 VACrms.
  • Temperature Range: Operating: -20 to +70ºC, Storage: -40 to +100ºC.
Features:
  • AC semiconductor contactor with integrated current monitoring.
  • Zero switching and direct copper bonding technology.
  • LED indications for supply, control, and alarm status.
  • Local and remote alarm status with adjustable set-point and time delay.
Alarm and Protection:
  • Over-temperature protection and alarm output type (NPN/PNP, Normally Open).
  • Alarm conditions include heater break, over-temperature, over-current, and thyristor short circuit.
  • Alarm delay adjustable via potentiometer, with non-latching alarm signals.
Operational Guidelines:
  • Local and remote setup procedures for TEACH, RESET, and TEST functions.
  • Remote operations can be controlled via PLC with up to 50 devices connected in parallel.
  • Specific procedures for handling alarms and resetting conditions.
Installation and Mounting:
  • Ready for DIN-rail or chassis mounting with integral heatsink.
  • Standard housing dimensions for easy replacement of alternative products.
Connection Examples: The document includes diagrams for connecting the SSR to loads and PLCs, highlighting the importance of common ground and proper sourcing from the same 24VDC supply.
Additional Notes: Specifications are subject to change without notice, and the document includes derating curves and dimensions for panel mounting.

Alarm DELAY time has elapsed, the AlarmDELAY timer is reset. 2.4 Over-temperature orOver-current. This alarm occurs if any oneof following two conditionsis true:1. The device detects aninternal over-temperature condition at any time duringoperation and switches off RJCS 1.3.3 Local TEST In the absence of a signal on the control inputӔ terminal, alocal TEST can be made bypressing and holding the but-ton for 5 seconds. After the redLED flashes 5 times, release the button. The device willswitch ON the loads for 1 sec-ond. This test detects if there isan under-current or heaterbreak alarm condition....

RJCS Example > Let the alarm delay setting be2s (min). If the full load currentis set at 30A, then there will bean alarm condition if the cur- rent is under 26.1A for morethan 2s. (Any fluctutation inthe load current that is pre- sent for <2s will not be sig-nalled this is intended to eliminate false alarms due toshort duration under-voltageconditions on the supply phase). If the control inputgoes off within the 2s, the alarm timer will not be resetprovided the control inputgoes on again within 8s (4x2s).
