Wiper/Washer Control Keeping in step with the needs of the Transportation Industry, Carling Technologies introduces yet another addition to our L-series family of Control Products, the new Wiper/Washer Control. Offering the best of both worlds, this new product combines the reliability and performance that you’ve come to expect from the L-series along with sleek aesthetics to seamlessly integrate into most any dashboard design. The Wiper/Washer Control features a robust packaging design which protects critical components, offers flexibility to meet a variety of customer requirements, while controlling several functions through the use of one single Control Product. Our integrated design provides an added bonus with the cost savings realized from the reduced need for insulated wires and connectors. The Wiper/Washer, Dimmer, and Mirror Rotate controls in conjunction with the versatile L-series family of switches enables Carling Technologies to provide "one-stop shopping" for virtually all functions encompassed in the dashboards of today. Design Features Include: • • • • • • • • • • • • • • All components are encased in control housing Insulated wires are not required during assembly Wire Chafing is completely eliminated Integrated design minimizes the number of electrical connections Front panel sealed, consistent with proven L series design Will protect against short-circuits Prevents PCB degradation caused by environmental intrusion 4 functions (Intermittent, Low speed, High speed, and Wash/Wipe) are incorporated into one single control versus the 2 control design of competitors Intermittent function features 6 steps with adjustable intervals varying from 3 to 15 seconds Wash function will operate from OFF, Intermittent, Low and High speed options 3 cycles of wiping run after each Wash function Protection against Reverse Polarity Transient and over-voltage protection Interference-free AM/FM radio signals Product Bulletin 101 Warranty Policy Carling Technologies, Inc.
