Product catalog summary
Overview: The document describes the AS series centrifuge technology designed for the metalworking industry, specifically for de-oiling metal chips. The AS series is characterized by its compact size and high performance, making it suitable for direct use at processing machines.
Specifications: The AS series is fully automatic and continuously processes short, pourable chips of aluminum and steel. It operates with a throughput capacity ranging from 70 to 600 liters per hour, depending on the model. The centrifuge separates coolant from chips using a slotted-hole screen, and the de-oiled chips are collected in a container or removed by a conveyor.
Technical Data: The document provides specific technical data for three models in the AS series:
  • AS 3 B-A: Throughput of 70-120 l/h, speed of 2500 min-1, RCF of 620 g, drum diameter of 178 mm.
  • AS 4 B-A: Throughput of 120-350 l/h, speed of 1750 min-1, RCF of 590 g, drum diameter of 350 mm.
  • AS 5 B-A: Throughput of 350-600 l/h, speed of 1400 min-1, RCF of 540 g, drum diameter of 500 mm.
Key Features: The AS series is noted for its automatic operation, continuous processing capability, and suitability for both aluminum and steel chips. Its compact design allows for non-centralized use directly at the processing machine.

CEPA De-oiling Centrifuge automatic-1

Centrifuge technology for metalworking Industry De-oiling chips AS series Small size, big performance! In the fully automatic AS series, short, pourable chips are continually added to the centrifuge by a conveyor in a steady stream from above. The centrifuging process separates the coolant from the chips by means of a slotted-hole screen. The de-oiled chips are spun off over the edge of the drum and collect in the chip container. Alternatively a conveyor can collect and remove the chips. Thanks to its compact dimensions this series is also suitable for use non-centrally directly at the processing machine.
