Technical Specifications
The WSD12-4DI Wireless Smart Datalogger is powered by a Type “C” 7.7Ah - 3.6V internal lithium battery, offering a typical battery life of five years with samples taken every ten minutes. It supports four channels for pulse counting from clean contact or open collector inputs, compatible with digital energy meters with pulse output. The datalogger can measure active, reactive, apparent, and thermal energy, as well as fluid volume and generic pulses. It has a datalogging capacity of 64,000 measures per channel and operates on a radio frequency of ISM 868MHz with a range of 600m in line of sight. The device is housed in an IP65 sealed ABS case, measuring 120 x 90 x 50mm and weighing 350g.

Functionality and Features
The datalogger utilizes the WINECAP™ protocol for efficient radio range and low battery consumption. It includes onboard backup memory to store the last 64,000 samples per channel, which can be downloaded via USB if the wireless link is down. The sampling interval is adjustable from one minute to 24 hours, and two thresholds per channel can be configured using the software. The device can interface with all basestations of the MWDG and MWLI product lines. Radio range can be extended using up to 32 WR11 routers, with a maximum of 16 per path.

Pulse Inputs and Connectivity
Pulse inputs are connected via an internal clamping screw terminal block, with sensor input accommodating up to 4.5mm Ø gland. The maximum count frequency is 25Hz with a pulse time set to 10 milliseconds.

Optional accessories include electric energy meters, flexible Rogowski coils, open/closed amperometric transformers, and a POD meter pulse reading interface (EXP2PUL).
