Light Weight Reinforced Thermoplastic LWRT is a family of composites including a thermoplastic resin (PP) and long chopped glass fiber. It is thermoformable at low pressure. Its weight is variable from 300 to 2000 gr/m2 Glass / Resin ratio : 20 60 % Cannon Ergos provides a turn key solution for the process of LWRT, composed by automated sheet handling, dedicated vertical or horizontal preheating ovens, compression press (with possible automated insertion of decorative foils), moulds, punching and trimming equipment, manipulation systems for the finished product.
