In Canare, these are identified at the end of the model name, W means the former and S means the latter. The following chart explains the differences between two types. W type (Normal Through) S type (Straight Through) Video Port : No Patch Signal routes between top and BNC Port : bottom BNC without the use of Signal thru as Arrowed Video plugs.
