Introduction
Robotic FP™ is a robotic solution developed by Ingersoll Machine Tools for composite layup in mid-size, complex geometries. It features a large working volume and compact deposition heads, making it ideal for laying up tight female parts and complex male tools.

Material Compatibility
The system can handle a wide range of fiber-reinforced materials, including epoxies, BMI, thermoplastics, carbon fiber, and glass fiber.

Control System
Robotic FP™ is equipped with the Siemens 840D SL CNC, known for its ease of operation and maintenance. Ingersoll's proprietary software is used for programming, simulation, optimization, and diagnostics.

Configuration Options

• Available in direct and reverse kinematic configurations with 6 to 8 axes.
• Supports 4 to 32 tow varieties with widths of 1/8”, 1/4”, and 1/2”.
• Hybrid version includes fiber placement, tape laying, trimming, and automated inspection.
• Size and configuration can be tailored and optimized.
