Introduction
Mongoose™ is a Fiber Placement module developed by Ingersoll Machine Tools, first released in 2009. It is designed for manufacturing complex composite parts with wide and high geometries.

Specifications
The Mongoose™ module features a large working volume and compact deposition heads, making it suitable for confined, female molds and complex, male geometries. It can handle a variety of fiber-reinforced materials, including epoxies, BMI, thermoplastics, carbon fiber, and glass fiber. The module's size and configuration are customizable to meet specific process and end-user requirements.

Configuration Details

• Available in 4 to 32 tow varieties with widths of 1/8”, 1/4”, or 1/2”.
• Features multiple modules that can be automatically exchanged.
• Operates with Siemens 840D control system.
• Programming, simulation, optimization, and diagnostics are managed through proprietary Ingersoll software.
