The KINAX angular position transmitters are precision instruments designed for measuring angular position and rotation. They convert the angular position of a shaft into a load-independent direct current signal proportional to the angular position. These transmitters are ideal for use in railway engineering, industrial plants, shipbuilding, power plant construction, and gate positions.

The capacitive scanning system consists of a differential screen capacitor and electronic circuitry. The angular deflection is transferred to the rotor of the capacitor, resulting in a change in capacitance proportional to the angle, which is then converted into a DC current signal.
