Flex-i-Dex Drive
The Flex-i-Dex is a dedicated Servo-Mechanical package ideal for light-duty applications or short, fast movements. It includes a servomotor and amplifier, and is available with either a large flange output or a shaft output. The package comes with Control Techniques Servo Motor, Uni-Drive SP controller, power and logic cables, and Power Tools software.

Constant Lead Cam Drives
These drives are standard RDM or Heavy Duty E-Series drives with constant lead cams, available with or without a reducer and servomotor package. They offer a large mounting surface, bearing support, and a thru-hole, allowing for flexibility in servomotor package selection.

Servo-Mechanical Drive Features

Zero-backlash, high-efficiency, long-life, low-maintenance precision rotary actuator.
Large output flange and bearing with metric or imperial tapped holes.
Large center hole for stationary center post or utility lines.
Output shaft with precision cam followers meshing with a hardened and ground cam.
Zero backlash achieved by preloading cam followers against the cam surface.
High efficiency due to cam followers rolling on the cam while submerged in oil.
Servomotor mounted directly to the camshaft with a locking clamp collar.
Secondary reducers with minimum backlash and NEMA or IEC frames.

Flex-i-Dex Models:

DSD-102 and DSD-150 with single reduction ratios of 20:1 and 24:1 respectively.
Maximum inertia on output dial: 10,000 lb-in² for DSD-102 and 100,000 lb-in² for DSD-150.
Accuracy: ±30 arc seconds; Repeatability: ±7 arc seconds.

RDM Models:

Reduction ratio range from 2:1 to 24:1.
Maximum inertia on output dial varies from 2,000 lb-in² to 705,000 lb-in².
Accuracy ranges from ±55 to ±17 arc seconds; Repeatability from ±18 to ±4 arc seconds.

E-Series Models:

Reduction ratio range from 2:1 to 32:1.
Maximum inertia on output dial ranges from 2,152,000 lb-in² to 86,250,000 lb-in².
Accuracy ranges from ±26 to ±7 arc seconds; Repeatability from ±6 to ±1 arc seconds.
