Traditional Control Scheme Lightning II Control Scheme • Mirror position is assumed-known based on position feedback; delays are required at the end of jumps (Jump Delay) and before changing mark direction (Stroke Delay) to ensure mirror position (= Stationary) • Mirror position is always known based on complete modeling of scanner behavior; delays are NOT required at all • Synchronization of laser firing to mirror motion is preprogrammed by the user; additional delays might be required (Laser-On Delay & Laser-Off Delay) • Synchronization...
