The P05 pedal can be used both indoors and outdoors, in hot or cold conditions and for countless applications. The P05 has a completely new mechanical design with all the electronics integrated in the pedal housing, making it extremely robust and resistant to tough environments. It is also cost-effective, adaptable and compliant with most market requirements including 100 V/m (EMC), +/8kV (terminal) and +/15kV (airborne) ESD discharge, protection class IP65 against moisture and dust. Highly adaptable The pedal is of OEM quality and has got a long lifespan, lasting for over ten million operations. It is available with Hall output voltage or a potentiometer (for analogue output signals),and up to two (optional) micro switches. Cable type and length can be customized. The customer can choose to have the cable glands leading out from the back of the pedal (standard) or through the bottom (special). The output signals can be customized, for example dual crossed 10–90% and 90–10% (0.5–4.5V and 4.5–0.5V) combined with double micro switches, one activated when the pedal disengages from idle position (IVS), and the other activated on kick down. The pedal can be supplemented with a mechanism that provides added resistance before the kick down switch is activated. Kick down mechanism Customer logo on the foot plate Caldaro can emboss the rubber-coated pedal with the customer’s logo or other text chosen by the customer (where the name “Caldaro” appears in the picture). The label on the pedal housing can be printed with the customer’s logo and the product’s item number. Different output and mechanical options for accelerator and brake usage For accelerator pedal applications, the output signal can be programmed for the desired type of engine control system, e.g. for a specific Cummins model. Dual return springs increase safety, and the spring force can be adjusted to achieve the optimal driving feel. For brake pedal applications, it is optional to have a limited travel angle and a soft end stop to emulate the feel of a traditional hydraulic brake pedal. Combined with higher spring force, this results in an excellent brake pedal with all th
