Introduction
The EDY CHIPPER by CAEB INTERNATIONAL is a self-propelled picking-mulching machine designed for handling trimmings from crops in rows such as vineyards, olive groves, and orchards. This machine transforms trimmings from waste into a valuable energy source, enhancing profitability.

General Features
The machine is equipped with a diesel engine and hydrostatic traction, available in 2 or 4-wheel drive. It features four steering wheels with independent controls, a dump bed for wood chips, and hydraulically adjustable components. Additional features include four control cameras, air conditioning, and an automatic step ladder.

Machine Dimensions
The EDY CHIPPER measures 5,560 mm in length with swath brushes and 4,250 mm without accessories. Its height is adjustable between 2,900 mm and 3,200 mm, and it has a standard width of 1,550 mm, extendable to 1,750 mm. The wheelbase is 2,000 mm, with front and rear track widths of 1,295-1,495 mm and 1,275 mm, respectively.

Engine Specifications
The machine is powered by a Deutz TCD3.6 engine with a displacement of 3,600 cc and a power output of 90 kW (120 cv). It has a fuel tank capacity of 150 liters, providing 12 hours of autonomy under working conditions.

Pick-Up System
The pick-up system features manually or automatically adjustable height, adjustable speed harvesting rollers, and reversible rotation direction. It includes steel forks for stony grounds and independent hydraulic swath brushes adjustable from the cabin.

Mill and Dump Bed
The mill uses a knives cutting system with hydraulic clutch engagement. The dump bed has dimensions of 2,920 mm in length, 1,150 mm in width, and 1,250 mm in height, with a capacity of 4 m³.

Performance Features
The machine operates at a forward speed of 5 km/h (4x4) or 9 km/h (2x4) in the field, and 11 km/h (4x4) or 20 km/h (2x4) on the road. It has a productivity rate of approximately 5,000 kg/h and can handle a maximum lateral slope of 20° and a longitudinal gradient of 16°.

Functionality
The EDY CHIPPER is designed for both road circulation and fieldwork, with adjustable configurations and active control features. It includes stability safety control for dumping, with a maximum dumping height of 4,000 mm and a maximum dump bed protrusion of 2,000 mm.
