This document describes a speaker cable suitable for audio, control, and instrumentation applications. It is compliant with RoHS standards and can be used for LONWORK applications.
The cable features stranded tinned copper wires with a conductor class of AWG 16 (19 x 0.30mm). The core insulation is made of PE with a diameter of 2.3 mm, identified by black and white colors. Two conductors are twisted together, and the outer sheath is made of LSZH compound with an external diameter of 6.3 mm, colored grey. The sheath is marked with the code LCAE MPU 116 SH - 1x2xAWG16 - LSZH.
The cable has a rated voltage of 300V, a conductor resistance of 14.5 Ω/km, and a capacitance of 95 pF/m between cores. The minimum bending radius is 8 times the diameter, and it operates within a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C. It complies with LSZH standards IEC 60754-1 & -2, IEC 61034-1 & -2, and has a burning behavior in accordance with IEC 60332-1. The CPR level is Eca as per EN50575.
Special versions with different dimensions, core, and jacket colors are available upon request.
