Armoured cables to be used when there is a risk of mechanical damage. Fire Resistance according to IEC 60331. Sheaths are resistant to aliphatic hydrocarbons CONSTRUCTION • Conductors: Solid (Class1) / stranded (Class2) annealed Copper, acc. to IEC 60228. • Insulation: Mica tape + XLPE • Cabling elements: Pairs or Triads (Quad configuration for 2-pair cable). • Core Identification: Natural / Red / Blue / Yellow. Numbered on Natural conductor. • Core. Units are assembled together spirally in concentric layers. • Core wrapping. PETP tape. Minimum 30% overlap. • Collective screen. Tinned cooper drain wire under and in contact with aluminium/PETP 12/23 laminated tape applied metallic side down. • Inner Sheath: LSZH compound, acc. to EN 50290-2-29. Hydrocarbon Resistant • Armour: 2 steel strips 0,2mm thick, acc. to NF C32-050. • Outer Sheath: LSZH compound, acc. to EN 50290-2-29.
