SERIE 75. QUADDED WATER BLOCKED CABLE, EMI PROTECTED Rodent resistant DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION Telecommunication cables from 28 to 224 pairs (14-112 quads). Copper conductor of 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm, solid (0.4 mm) or cellular (0.6 and 0.8 mm) PE insulation. Stranded into star quads. Filled with PE jelly and sheathed with an anti-inductive sheath. They are cables for duct or direct burial in the distribution network when protection against electromagnetic disturbances is needed. CONSTRUCTION • Conductors: Annealed copper, diameters of 0.40, 0.60 and 0.80 mm. • Insulation: Solid PE for 0.40 mm; cellular PE for 0.60 and 0.80 mm. • Cabling elements: star quads. • Lay-up: stranded in layers up to 28 pairs. Cables from 56 pairs in units. Colour code according to UTE C93-526. • Filling compound: petroleum PE jelly. • Core wrapping. Overlapping longitudinal dielectric tape. • Screen: Corrugated aluminium or copper tape with a continuity wire. • Inner sheath: PE. • Armour: Two high permeability steel tapes helically applied. • Outer sheath: Black PE, UV resistant. • Sheath marking : The outer sheath shall be marked at regular intervals with the following information: o Name of Manufacturer / year / Length markings o Other type of markings is also possible according to the customer All drawings, designs, specifications and particulars of weights, dimensions, etc. in this documentation are only indicative and must not be considered contractual.
